FOUNDER’S NOTE
“Civilizational continuity through the Veena”
“Veena Yug Anant is not merely a cultural initiative, but a civilizational commitment to restore India’s Veenas, Indian instruments, and classical music to living consciousness before they are reduced to distant symbols of admiration.”

Founder’s Note
What is at stake is not only the future of one instrument, but the continuity of an entire cultural inheritance. Through her initiatives and mission-led work, Dr. Radhika Veenasadhika is dedicated to restoring the Veena’s rightful place in public consciousness and living tradition.
Mission Overview / About the Mission
Veena Yug Anant has emerged from a deep cultural responsibility: to ensure that India’s instruments, knowledge traditions, and artistic inheritance do not remain symbolically admired while fading from living consciousness. More than few thousands students have already been trained in traditional Indian Veenas, and awareness has reached 2,21,56,300 individuals through this living mission of restoration, continuity, and public engagement.
Mission Pillars / Focus Areas
Veena Yug Anant is carried forward through four core pillars: awareness of the Vichitra Veena, the return of the Veena to everyday life, renewed attention to India’s string traditions, and the strengthening of cultural continuity through education and outreach.
Why This Mission Matters
The concern is larger than music alone. When younger generations grow distant from their own instruments and sound-worlds, they also grow distant from ways of listening, learning, and becoming that belong to their inheritance. A civilization cannot afford to lose familiarity with the very forms through which it has expressed beauty, wisdom, and inner refinement
Cultural Observances / International Days
Through these observances, remembrance becomes recurring, recognition becomes visible, and continuity becomes shared. They help return India’s Veenas to public attention not as relics of the past, but as living inheritances of the present.
Impact / Work Already Done
This mission is no longer only a vision. It already lives through students, institutions, public platforms, observances, books, innovation, and sustained outreach that have brought the Vichitra Veena into wider cultural consciousness
